We are two brothers — Sohail Mohammad and Syeef Mohammad — united not only by family ties but by our shared faith and passion for preserving and presenting the historical journey of the Ummah with clarity and sincerity.

Sohail Mohammad – Co-founder & Lead Writer

Sohail is a lifelong student of history and a committed believer in the power of meaningful knowledge. While other children flipped through comics, Sohail spent his youth immersed in books on world history, empires, civilizations, and the rise and fall of nations. He was especially drawn to the courage of prophets, the wisdom of scholars, and the unmatched depth of Islam’s spiritual and historical legacy.

Though he completed his postgraduate studies in the UK (where he continues to live), Sohail’s real education came through libraries, bookshops, late-night reflections, and conversations with imams, da’wah workers, and Islamic scholars. He also explored comparative religion — Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism — only to rediscover the unmatched clarity, light, and guidance within Islam.

Sohail continues to manage his professional responsibilities while dedicating his free time to studying and writing about Islamic history. At IslamicH.com, he offers content that is engaging, emotionally resonant, and deeply rooted in authentic sources like the Qur’an, sahih hadiths, and classical scholars such as Ibn Kathir and Al-Tabari.

He has also traveled extensively — visiting Islamic landmarks across Turkey, North Africa, Spain, Gibraltar, and other parts of Europe. These journeys have only deepened his connection to the Ummah’s shared story.
